Physical Appearance: 5'10", just a smidge of flab. Alan has short hair and a weird, mesmerizing stare. He is almost always wearing a suit, due to the nature of his job. He has terrible posture and a habit of placing one hand on his stomach when he is about to speak.
Education: Nobles and Harvard.
Occupation: A lawyer, and a good one. Currently an associate at Crane, Poole and Schmidt.
Significant Other: Denny Crane.
Sexual Preference: Women. Preferably ones much younger and more inexperienced than him. He likes to see himself through their eyes.


Character Biography:
History: Alan Shore's past is a twisted psychological hell. He lived with a mother who barely touched him, lost his virginity at age 14, got married once only to see his wife die, has involved himself in a series of meaningless and destructive sexual relationships, and is terrified of clowns because of a blow-up doll he had as a child. He was an associate at the prestigious law firm Young, Frutt, and Berlutti before being fired with a minuscule amount of severance pay. Alan sued Young, Frutt, and Berlutti and won, at which point he was hired by Denny Crane to work at Crane, Poole, and Schmidt.
Personality in seven words or less: competitive, lecherous, verbose, principled, deviant, loyal, fervent.
How Others Perceive Your Character: Alan is very straightforward, and therefore can come off as rude, lewd, or judgmental to those around him. People do not tend to trust him (except for Denny Crane). Within the context of a trial, others perceive Alan in exactly the way he wants them to; he utilizes a whirlwind combination of emotion and logic in order to sway the jury into thinking his way.
Beliefs, Convictions, Morals:Alan is a zealous defender of human rights; he will commit atrocities in order to secure the rights of those he believes to be deserving. He believes that a best friend is infinitely more valuable than a lover or a wife.
Reason(s) for Escaping to Canada: Denny went there and never came back.
